Samsung already had a program, the “Tech Institute” to bolster technology education for people from 18 to 30 years old, but wanted to provide access to these skills from an earlier age.
In close co-operation with Madrid’s regional government’s department of education and research, we developed a training program within the official academic curricula for high school students (aged 12-15) and their teachers. The work revolved around how to use apps and technology to advance in the Sustainable Development Goal of Sustainable Cities, and specifically on subjects such as tolerance, inclusion and coexistence.
Development of a community project through a public-private alliance, which in turn reached a wider target group (both the area and the participants). More than 1,000 beneficiaries from 12 high schools.
