2015 – Present.

  • Background.

    Sustainable Brands is the leading global community in the sustainability and business equation. With more than 10 million followers worldwide, its goal is to inspire and empower brands to favour the transition to a more sustainable world, through the experience of revolutionary global leaders who are changing the way they do business.

    Meetings, conferences and events are held in more than 15 major cities around the world in Madrid, Boston, Denver, San Diego, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Cape Town, Paris, Copenhagen, Istanbul, and Sydney.

  • The Challenge.

    Since its creation, Quiero identified that sustainability in Spain was associated with a reactive dimension and very far from what is business needs are in this new age, and well beyond just philanthropy and social action.

    From the very beginning, Quiero promoted and supported this vision of sustainability and business as a basic element that needs to be at the core of the DNA of companies.

    Quiero focuses on creating and expanding the global Sustainable Brands community, knowing first-hand all the global, regional and local initiatives, leaders and influencers who are revolutionizing the way we do business; and be part of these evolutionary and experiences and mind-sets which inspire change in Spanish companies.

  • Strategy.

    Quiero bought Sustainable Brands to Spain in 2015, on the basis of creating an interactive, proactive and inspirational learning and meeting point where brands, citizens and the administration establish a dialogue that adds value to the way we understand the world and the business from a SUSTAINABILITY perspective.

  • Actions.

    • Quiero decided to build on and adapt the success of professional conferences from around the world, bringing together global leaders, game-changers and inspirers from all dimensions as well as brands and organizations.
    • Sustainable Sunday, designed and created by Quiero, turns sustainability into something participative, engaging and inspiring for citizens, and its concept is being replicated across the Sustainable Brands network and into other cities.
    • Co-creating cities. The legacy of the event in the host city, essential to unite the Administration in all these efforts.

    The first two meetings were held in Barcelona in 2015 and 2016. The third and fourth, 2017 and 2018, in Madrid, and we are currently organizing the fifth edition to be held in central Madrid this 17th and 18th October, 2019.

  • Achievements.

    More than 400 professionals from 25 different countries meet annually at the Sustainable Brands event in Spain. Each event has more than 1 Million Euros of ROI, considering its media presence. The community of SB based in Spain is international and already has connected and brought together more than 2,000 high-level professionals.
